The Great escape

Last week, the club owners took a decision to crown Lobi Stars as Champions of the Nigerian Professional Football League for 2017/2018 league season after week 24.
The abrupt end to the season also meant that no team will go on relegation, rather the next season will be an abridged league of 12 teams in two groups.
With this development, Heartland has escaped the hammer and horrific depth of relegation Waters.
Truly , it would have been calamitous if Heartland had gone back to Egypt but God had mercy and saved IMO from doom and gloom
While the battle raged on and off the pitch, The digital President had an unwavering faith that the Club will survive the drop, hence his actions and in actions depicted a president whose club belongs to the top flight.
Naysayers were furious and negative when the club embarked on an invitational tournament in Turkey, but it was all to better the lot of a top flight Club whose dream and aspiration was
financial independence from the Government
Hon Chibuzo Bashlyks Etuemena 's good faith in God has seen him through the most turbulent times and the great escape is one of those Super natural intervention in his life.
After rain comes sunshine. It is expected that Government will throw her weight behind Heartland to assist the club bring back the glory days of yesteryears
All hands must be on deck to build the Heartland of our dreams.
The Heartland that won titles,
The Heartland than played on the continent
The Heartland that had the best players
The Heartland that Imolites were proud of.
For that to happen, The Government must be a partner to rejig the Team.
The team will have to recruit the good players. pay and motivate them and as when due
Motivation dedication and discipline must be an integral part of a new Heartland
Etuemena had shown he has what it takes to steer this team in the right direction.
Time for us to join hands and make it work.
The time to start is now
Long live Heartland
